Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 August 2026

The short version: we collect only what we need. We use it only to help you. We never sell it. You can ask us to delete it, any time. The detail is below.

Who this covers

This policy explains how YouLead Coaching (ABN 53 790 855 125) handles your personal information. It covers this website, its forms, and the coaching and workshop services we offer through it.

We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need.

When you fill in a form, such as booking a Clarity Call or requesting a free resource, we collect your name, email, and anything you write in the message.

When you browse, we collect basic usage data: the pages you visit, your approximate location, and your browser and device details.

We do not want sensitive information such as health details. Please leave that out of any form.

Recordings and photos

We record 1:1 and group coaching sessions on Google Meet. We tell you before a session starts that it's being recorded.

1:1 recordings are for our own reference only. They're never reused elsewhere.

We may use parts of a group session in a coaching course or in training material. If a group recording includes something personal you've shared, we only use it if you've agreed to that, otherwise it's cut before the recording is used anywhere else.

Free webinars and workshops work differently. By registering, you agree to be recorded and photographed, and to that being used in our marketing as well as our training material.

If you'd like a copy of your own session, ask us and we'll send it to you.

We keep coaching recordings for 12 months, then delete them. If you'd like yours deleted sooner, ask us.

Marketing photos and recordings from free webinars and workshops may be kept for as long as we're using them. If you'd like something taken down, ask us and we will.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and an analytics tool to understand how it's used, so we can improve it.

It also records anonymous replays of visits, so we can see where people get stuck. Anything you type into a form is masked before the recording is saved, including your name, email and phone number. We see how the page was used. We never see what you wrote.

If you'd rather not be included, most browsers let you block cookies. The site works exactly the same either way.

Why we use your information

We use it to send you what you asked for, to reply to you, to deliver coaching and workshops, and to improve the site.

If you opt in, we'll also send occasional leadership insights and event news. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we stop the moment you use it.

We never sell your information, and we never rent it out. It's only handled by us and the services listed below.

Who else can see it

A small number of outside services help us run the site and the business: hosting, storing form submissions and our email list, storing session recordings, and understanding how the site is used. They only get what they need to do their job.

The Mini Leadership Profile is run by the International Coaching Institute, on their own site under their own privacy policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Stored overseas

The platforms we use for forms, email and session recordings store information on servers in the United States, so it's subject to US law as well as Australia's.

If that concerns you, email us instead of using the forms.

Keeping it, keeping it safe

We keep your information for as long as we're working with you, plus a short period after for our records. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum needed to make sure we don't email you again by mistake. Coaching recordings are kept for 12 months, as described above.

It's stored in password-protected accounts and sent over encrypted connections, recordings included. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, and delete what we no longer need.

Your information, your rights

You can ask us any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us. We'll respond within a reasonable time, at no cost to you. We may need to confirm who you are first.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll look into it. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or call 1300 363 992.
